Porvair PLC said Monday that profit for fiscal 2020 fell and that it wouldn’t issue earnings guidance due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The London-listed filtration solutions company said that for the year ended Nov. 30 its pretax profit was 11.6 million pounds ($15.9 million) compared with GBP14 million for fiscal 2019.
Revenue was GBP135.0 million compared with GBP144.9 million the year before.
The board declared a final dividend of 3.3 pence, taking the total for the year to 5.0 pence, compared with 4.9 pence the year prior.
“Investments made over the last few years will help margins and the new product development pipeline is strong for the near term. Prospects for the medium term are good and Porvair should return to its historical levels of growth once the pandemic retreats,” the company said.
