Shares of Caterpillar CAT, -0.14% and IBM IBM, -0.23% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.28% is trading 125 points, or 0.4%, higher. Caterpillar’s shares are up $2.22 (0.9%) while those of IBM have gained $1.33, or 0.9%, combining for an approximately 23-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Cisco CSCO, +0.39%, Walt Disney DIS, +2.78%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +0.62%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
