Powerhouse Energy Group Shares Rise on Partner’s Agreement With Linde Engineering

Shares in Powerhouse Energy Group PLC rose on Friday after the company said that its development partner Hydrogen Utopia International PLC has signed a framework agreement with Linde Engineering.

Shares at 0839 GMT were up 1.70 pence, or 39%, at 6.10 pence.

The U.K. technology company said the framework agreement gave Linde Engineering five-year exclusivity to supply HUI’s development of Powerhouse’s DMG hydrogen-from-waste technology.

The company said this will take place in Poland, Hungary and Greece–where HUI holds exclusivity for promotion and marketing of DMG technology–and potentially in the rest of Europe on a project-by-project basis.

“We look forward to HUI and Linde’s collaboration which would use Powerhouse technology to help accelerate Poland’s clean-energy transition. HUI is championing our technology across Europe and potentially the world–helping provide a global solution to plastic waste,” Powerhouse Energy said.
