Motorcar Parts of America shares rose 18%, to $8.30, Wednesday after Bison Capital Asset Management increased its stake in the automotive aftermarket-parts company.
In March, Motorcar Parts reported a $32 million convertible note purchase agreement with Bison. On Tuesday, Bison said in a filing that it bought 50,000 shares for $7 each on June 23.
