Home Depot’s shares are up $6.86 (2.4%) while those of Boeing have gained $2.77 (2.2%), combining for an approximately 63-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are UnitedHealth UNH, +1.52%, Goldman Sachs GS, +0.48%, and 3M MMM, -0.33%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
