The Dow Jones Industrial Average is in a selloff Thursday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Intel facing the biggest declines for the index. The Dow DJIA, -1.75% was most recently trading 548 points (1.7%) lower, as shares of Boeing BA, -5.62% and Intel INTC, -4.42% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline.
Boeing’s shares are off $11.89, or 5.2%, while those of Intel are off $2.85, or 4.5%, combining for an approximately 97-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, -3.90%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -3.48%, and Walt Disney DIS, -3.31%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
