Bitcoin climbs as PayPal launches ‘Checkout with Crypto’

Bitcoin BTCUSD, 3.28% rose on the news PayPal Holdings PYPL, -0.06% is launching Checkout with Crypto, a new feature which allow users with cryptocurrency holdings to pay for goods and services.

Bitcoin BTCUSD, 3.28% rose over 3%, and the other currencies PayPal is allowing — Litecoin LTCUSD, 1.74%, Ethereum ETHUSD, 1.72% and Bitcoin Cash BCHUSD, 2.60% — also rose.
