Coca-Cola, Walmart share gains contribute to Dow’s 133-point jump

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Wednesday morning with shares of Coca-Cola and Walmart seeing positive growth for the blue-chip average.

Shares of Coca-Cola KO, +1.21% and Walmart WMT, -1.13% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, -0.10% was most recently trading 133 points higher (0.5%). Coca-Cola’s shares are up $1.47, or 2.7%, while those of Walmart have risen $1.93 (1.5%), combining for an approximately 22-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are UnitedHealth UNH, +0.03%, Apple AAPL, -0.46%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +1.62%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
